Novacosm
- Everything Forever EP (plus enhanced CD)
A
Review by Troy Jewell from www.ink19.com
"Novacosm's debut Everything Forever
is more than a detour of a neo-nazi's past.
It is a heavenly record espousing the opposite;
the band (and the record) exhibits the 'power
of music' to transform lives -- for good
and bad -- and to challenge oneself."

Hate
Rock to Spiritual Revelation - The Transformation
of George Burdi
An
Interview by Brian W. Blueskye
This interview is based upon George Burdi's
life in the white supremacy movement, his
personal transformation, and George Burdi
today. Today, George lives in Toronto, Canada
with his wife and continues to write music
with his new band, Novacosm while also starting
other musical projects. The anti-racist
movement still does not know how to take
this transformation; many activists are
left wondering and shocked - including me. |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
George Burdi acquires rights to his band,
Novacosm [TORONTO]
George Burdi, singer/songwriter for Novacosm,
has agreed to terms with Legacy Media Corp.,
a Toronto-based indie, to release him from
his three-album obligation. Rights to all
previous Novacosm recordings were acquired
at the same time for an undisclosed sum.
This move will enable the band to
go to the next level, says Burdi.
We can bring in outside investors,
entertain recording contracts and distribution
deals, and completely control the artistic
process.
Plans for the immediate future include
the free distribution of their entire album
via MP3.com. But doesnt a band need
to earn a living? In my days with
Rahowa, I loved the artistic purity fostered
by the non-commercialization of our music.
Novacosm has been too much sensation and
not enough art, and we mean to change that.
Giving our music away for free is a step
in the right direction. The funny thing
is, when you have this re-focus, your music
is better, and you make more money anyway.
The band still intends to sell their CDs
for those who would prefer the highest fidelity
copy.
What other plans are in the bands future?
Were working on a new album,
a video, and an upgrade to our website.
We want to add a forum, which judging from
some of the amazing emails I get, will keep
our homepage interesting.

Punk
Planet Issue #48
Interview with George Burdi
Five years ago, the editors from Punk
Planet would never have done an interview
with George, with his juxtaposed politics
and antagonistic rhetoric. But time changes
many things, and now Burdi is appearing
on the cover, complete with an intriguing
Q&A that represents the most thorough
piece done yet on him. Unfortunately
the interview is not available online,

VH1
Special
In this one hour special, VH1 attempts to
penetrate the surface of the complex world
of skinhead hatecore music. The producers
do a good job of compiling a vast panorama
of elements, presented in cinema verite,
in which they create honest human portraits
of people that are hard to understand but
easy to demonize.
